Happy May Palace Pals! To all the mothers and nurturing people out there, we are wishing you a belated Happy Mother's Day! Sending out a zillion high fives and hugs for all of you who nuture others!!
May is also Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month... and in light of the recent news, its more important than ever to educate ourselves and our families on the rich histories that these communities have. To teach compassion and instill these values of love and equality in our children. See below some children's book titles that we have enjoyed over the last few years, and some new ones that we are discovering. Rosemary Wells and Grace Lin have always been favorite authors of ours. I wore only purple for the duration of my 8th year, and I mean ONLY purple, not white or any other color. Have fun!!
